"The Maxon SD9 Sonic Distortion has a wonderful, aggressive sound with full lows and crisp highs. It also cleans up nicely when you roll the volume down on your guitar, unlike other high gain distortion pedals I've used. I just love the chaos in this pedal - it's got great distortion and a bad attitude. Killer!"
